The AEAWA Outreach program, the brainchild of Robert Harding, commenced in mid 2021. Since then, the committee of volunteers has made several very enjoyable and much appreciated visits to both our current members and even some past ones. It has been slow due to ongoing Covid restrictions, and we are on a temporary hold due to the current Covid outbreak, however, we are determined to continue on with the goals in mind.
Here are some of the sharing/caring activities we hope to provide:
- transport by giving lifts to anyone living far from any AEAWA events;
- nursing home visits;
- home visits;
- coffee chats
